We Are All Multidimensional Explorers

evening-72354__340

By Raphael Awen

Every last one of us are multidimensional, meaning we exist on more than one plane. Most of us however are not aware of it, and those of us that are aware of it, are left in a place of wanting, even craving to open our awareness of these other states of being into our more normal waking consciousness.

We become more and more like true explorers, filled with curiosity and wonder. How did we arrive to even being aware on and of ANY level, let alone these unexplored levels? How can we open ourselves further and faster to what wonderworlds lie before us?

One piece I feel that answers these QUESTions is feeling how prone we are, and understandably so, to normalize phenomenal experiences. When you first learned to walk, it was celebrated and photographed. But when was the last time anyone or yourself took notice of this incredible ability of yours to walk? If you pause for a moment to contemplate how amazing it is that you can walk, that you are a physical being, who came from a single cell, all the way to possessing the ability to walk, an awe and wonder reopens that was closed off by this need we have to normalize wonder.

I guarantee you that when we all find the ability to teleport, we will after not too long, be kind of ho-hum about it. It’s just what we do. Your ability to walk is no less amazing than an ability to teleport, it’s just that one has become common to us and the other hasn’t.

It seems we need to do this normalizing of phenomena to be able to navigate the phenomena. We’d be like total stoners if we couldn’t. But being like a total stoner is an option we can retake to ourselves when we are ready to re-enter the awe and reverence of the thing that we normalized. Wanna get totally stoned?…just consider that other dimensional beings would consider it really cool if they could bump into walls, while we on the other hand we would consider it really cool if we could walk through walls. It’s all about what we’ve normalized and made familiar.

If this is true, then your ability to bump into a wall is really amazing stuff and no less amazing than the ability to walk through walls. It’s about our need on one hand to leave the realm of awe and wonder long enough to alchemize desire and curiosity to expand our dimensionality, and then to re-enter that world of total awe and wonder. This dimension is really cool, but what about all the others that I don’t begin to know? Moving from normalcy to the abnormal, from the familiar to the unfamiliar, seems to be the anti-gravitic device that allows us to travel to realms beyond the one we’ve been tethered to.

Boredom and ho-hum is what we use to anchor us to a given dimension. Awe and reverence is what we use to awaken us to attempting our first steps in new dimensions.

The universe is so inviting you and I out to PLAY. The universe is a total child at heart, and doesn’t begin to know where all this is heading, but so wants to find out. It wants to find out through you and me.

The Art of Self Loving for Spring

1376314_10200611205950228_1075955537_n

by WINTER CLARK 7 MAY MOON AND PRACTICE, WRITING

Self love is an interesting concept. It’s something that we’re all aware of but how we approach it will look differently for each of us. When we hear the question, “do you love yourself?” we may be faced with a mix of emotions as we think about it and try to answer in a way that feels right.

This topic is coming up strongly for May because spring is in the air and bringing new beginnings with it. May is also bringing us fertility, creation, love and really juicy energy (I’m looking at you Beltane!) that opens us up to new possibilities of how we relate to ourselves.
We experienced a highly transformative winter that led us unapologetically into March and April, where we shrugged off layers to release that which no longer served us under the Scorpio full moon. The beautiful thing is, universal energies are always working to assist us in our growth process as we pursue the things we deeply desire – even if it doesn’t always feel like it.

Self love is about attending to your needs in the way of balancing actions. We can think of energy balancing between two polarities; for example masculine and feminine energy.
If masculine energy is out of balance, this will show up as aggression or forcefulness, overworking oneself, speaking to ourselves in a harsh manner and so on.
Masculine energy in balance is direct, assertive, driven and goal oriented.

Imbalanced feminine energy can show up as passivity, avoiding, withdrawing and not voicing one’s needs. It can also look like hiding things out of fear, having difficulty receiving or putting aside priorities to help others more than what is necessary. Balanced feminine energy is receptive, regenerative (balanced give and take), nurturing and intuitive.

There are many ways to bring balance back in. If you’re finding that it’s hard to call in what you want such as a passion project, a new idea or a fresh direction for your life, considering the energies at play can be really beneficial in bringing the process back into flow.

Here are some examples of bringing masculine energy into balance:

– Setting your alarm to take scheduled breaks from work, such as a walk around the office or even better, outside around the block. Get some water or tea to refresh your brain!
– Placing crystals in the areas you spend the most time in at work (like your desk) or at home in your work space such as selenite (to raise the vibration), rose quartz (to bring gentleness into the space), or amethyst (to stay connected to your higher self).
– Making a point to get outside at least once a day. If you can do that, try getting in a walk at least once a week. Mindful walking means going at a relaxed pace, noting the plants and animals around you to see the dance of nature that’s happening behind the scenes.

When we balance feminine energy, it can look like:

– Saying no when you really don’t want to, don’t need to or don’t have to say yes.
– Incorporating more movement into your daily routine (Spotify dance break!).
– Allowing others to assist you from time to time instead of trying to do it all yourself. This is really helpful for those who find it challenging to receive and are more comfortable in the role as a “giver.”

These are methods that anyone can use because we all have masculine and feminine energies within us. We all fall out of balance from time to time! So be kind, be gentle but above all, be patient with yourself in this season of love and renewal.

A NEW PARADIGM, AWARENESS

APRIL 28, 2018 OPENHEARTED REBEL

By Jessie Klassen, Wake Up World

“Are you sure you just want to farm? Don’t you want to do something more with your life?” These were the questions posed to me in high school by my well-meaning teachers when I had declared that I was going to farm with my family after graduation. In their eyes, I was wasting my talents by staying on the farm I grew up on.

For generations, this has been a fostered attitude here in the country; you grow up, move to the city as soon as you can, get an education so that you can get a good paying job and you’ll be much happier than living out here in “the sticks.” There isn’t a whole lot of encouragement or support given to anyone with aspirations of staying. Sadly, this attitude for decades has meant the decimation of our small communities and reliance upon large, urban centres.

Not that there was anything wrong with those who did choose to move away and pursue their dreams elsewhere. Their talents and abilities are certainly cherished and needed in this world. I am just hoping that this is what they actually wanted, and that they weren’t left feeling empty, or somehow abandoned by the life and the land that they knew; because it seems that when our children are being guided into their careers, especially by the school system, it often comes down to “coulds” and “shoulds” rather than “wants” and “callings”.

With this trend of small-town families encouraging their children to go live a “better life elsewhere”, I can’t help but wonder if those people couldn’t see the treasures they had in front of them? And I wonder how many of these children did indeed feel happier in the city, or away from their homeland? Away from the land?

My own parents experienced the same questions from their teachers as I had from mine; “But you’re too smart to farm, you could be anything you want”, was what my mother was told. In other words, “Only idiots stay here and farm, go make something of yourself.” This comment implied the sentiment that so many have carried for so long; that you don’t have to be very smart to farm, so it is what you do if you aren’t capable of anything “greater”. This attitude diminishes the great skill and determination involved in farming, and the incredible value of farming to our community.

So, my parents did give a life in the city a try. It lasted about a year, and in that time they found themselves so miserable and longing for the farm that they moved home to the farm and never looked back. Needless to say, my mother’s impeccable book-keeping abilities, coupled with her and my father’s building and fixing skills, work ethic, love and knowledge of the natural world, and pioneering spirit, have all served them well as self-employed farmers. Fortunately, they both came from farming families who encouraged rather than discouraged them.

Farming requires all kinds of skills, talents, and abilities, most of which cannot be learned from a book. Something that I have noticed that sets many farmers apart from many others is the accuracy of their intuition. Farming is a spiritual practice that one must feel — and there is really no teacher like experience.

Choosing a Way of Life
My parents chose to farm for the exact reasons that I chose to farm; it allows a way of life that I wanted to have for both myself and my children.

I cringe when I hear people speak of their gruelling commutes to get to work every day. The stress of traffic and the time that they are losing out on their days must wear on their entire beings. I enjoy a short, winding, half-minute drive through the trees to reach my destination, and it is a pure joy at all times of the year to either drive, walk, or bike. And the only traffic I meet is another family member or else a chattering red squirrel.

Every day is “take your kids to work day”, and school is often skipped so that valuable lessons at home can be focused upon. The teachers in our small-town school have come to understand that the Klassen kids will never set any records for attendance (but quite possibly for non-attendance). I have come to realize that we are engaging in a sort of combination of public/home-schooling, and with their good marks in school, I feel we are enjoying the best of both worlds.

Country living provides fresh air for my family to breathe, clean water to drink, a chance to grow nutritious food or pick it from the wild, and a safe environment for my kids to run free, explore and connect with Nature while learning about themselves.

No two days on the farm are ever alike, as our chores are always shifting with the seasons. I get to keep company with the kindest of creatures, and my co-workers are also my furry, faithful companions who guard my yard (mostly chickens) from predators.

When I was 19 I went to work for a local seed dealer for a seasonal spring job. It lasted two months, and in this short time I learned the valuable lesson of how good I had it at home, working with those who love and care for me and would never take advantage of my work ethic. I also learned how much I missed the kind-hearted cattle and the land I grew up on, and I learned that they had missed me as well. I learned that I would always do whatever it takes to stay on this land and be my own boss, and treat my own children with the same kindness and respect that my parents had treated me.

I remember one such comment from my boss one day which really made me realize how soul-depleting it can be to work for someone who only looks at you with dollar value. I was shovelling grain, and it was a hot, dusty job. He laughed at me and said, “I bet you’re wishing now that you went off to college, hey?”

I didn’t reply. What was the point? How could I explain that I really didn’t mind shovelling my own grain, or the grain of my family, grown on our land, with others who appreciate me.

This seed dealer looked at everything and everyone as a business. There was no soul connection to the land or to others, and he was only happy if he knew he had gotten every ounce of work out of you that he could.

I was also fortunate to find a partner who enjoys this way of life as much as I do. But having said that, when we set our standards and know exactly what we want, we naturally attract those who feel the same, so it’s probably not just a matter of fortune. He loves living “out in the sticks” and understands that quality time spent together is often time spent working together. You learn to take what you can get! But when you love what you do, it seldom feels like work.

As a farmer, it is impossible to schedule holidays, and so one has to learn the art of flexibility and embracing opportunities as they arise.

While life in the country, especially on a farm, certainly has its challenges, I have found that the rewards far outweigh them. While we have to work in all kinds of weather, and have had days where we are literally covered in manure, there is great beauty in being in constant connection and rhythm with Nature. I feel the sun rise every day, in the summer months when it is strong, and in the winter when it is subtle. Every evening as I make supper, I can watch it sink into the landscape.

When I do go into our small town, which thankfully has survived recent trends and still has a school and other businesses, I am greeted with smiles and pleasant conversation. It only takes one trip to the city and an encounter with a surly salesperson who looks miserable in their occupation to appreciate the service of a small town.

At one time I used to wonder how my life would have turned out had I not stayed here in the country with my family. What if I would have “pursued” writing, in the more conventional sense? I’ve since come to know that I wouldn’t have had anything to write about. My words would have been empty. But my soul is fulfilled here, living upon the land that loves and takes care of me and my family, so I write about what I know about, and what I love — as a farmer, parent, and empath — and share the words that Nature wants to have heard.

Looking back, I can’t help but admire the young girl I used to be, who knew where she needed to be and what she wanted. I will always hold a great appreciation for my parents who supported and encouraged me to listen to my heart. Life certainly hasn’t always gone as planned, there have been bumps and detours along the way, but as with all things in life, there are no accidents and every choice got me here.

I am not sure if my own children will want to farm or stay in the country, as I know it isn’t for everyone, but I will certainly try to provide every opportunity that I can to help them if they choose to stay, or to come back one day, such as my parents provided for me. Perhaps they will need to leave and spread their wings. Perhaps they will find another place that calls to them and feels like home. Or maybe they will be called back to the land that loves them, seasoned with life lessons and experiences.

Whether my children choose to stay or not, may they choose a way of life that fulfills them, not simply a logical occupation that pays the bills; one that nourishes their soul, not depletes it; a way of life where they look forward to rising every day, living their passion and expressing the joy that lives within them; a life where they are truly sharing their gifts.

asdf

In a society that has fallen into the traps of over-stimulation, distraction, and competition, and has come to equate happiness with money and success with a title, I feel it is time to refocus on the simple pleasures of life; healthy food, a safe, clean environment for our children to grow into who they are, and time to enjoy one another and see the magic in the world around us.

I feel it is time for a refocus on our small communities, because this is where this wholesome life can be lived. These small communities can be created within cities as well. They are simply groups of like-minded people who are all willing to co-create the world in which they want to live in. It is these communities that will encourage and allow our children to choose a way of life, not an occupation. Community gardens are a wonderful start for people to gather and share in the sacred act of growing nutritious food and showing love for the earth and the land that supports them. It is time that those of us in small communities stop sending our children, our most valuable resource, “out there for a better life” and start re-creating the life that we want right where we are. We don’t want to hold them back, but we can encourage them to stay or to return when they are ready. We can place our loving intent and energy into our communities, like a seed, and we will soon reap the bountiful harvest of fulfilled, contented people.

I hope that you have found this helpful! I would love to hear from you via my website www.jessieklassen.com. While there, feel free to sign up for my free weekly-ish newsletter where I share my lessons and experiences from living a life close to Nature.

10 Reasons Why You Should Never Give Up

fb:HarmonicConvergenceofsouls

1. HEAVEN Has A Plan For You

You were brought into this world for a divine reason. You have been placed here on earth by Heaven to help others and to learn about your life’s purpose. Before you were even born, Heaven mapped out a plan for you that you are meant to fulfill. All the people you have met, the challenges you have faced, and the opportunity that has come has been selected for you to learn grow and experience life to the fullest.

2. You Are Never Alone

As you walk through life, know that you are never alone. Walking silently next to you are your Angels, Spirit Guide, and Loved ones that have passed on. They are your support team in Heaven, encouraging you to take the next step and to keep pushing forward no matter what. They believe in you, and will send you signs along the way to remind you that they are nearby. You can talk to them at any time and they will be there ready to listen. Do you feel their presence?

3. You are being shown a learning experience by Heaven.

Each challenge you are faced with is meant to be a learning experience designed for you to overcome, and to help you grow stronger. Know that Heaven would never let you take on something that you cannot handle. If Heaven leads you to it, Heaven will lead you through it. At the end of the day, it’s the struggles, challenges and life lessons that shape who we are, and teach us the most about life. Look at some of the challenges that you are being faced with. What can you do to grow and move past them? How can you change your life for the better? Heaven will often ‘test’ us by leading us through the same situation or challenge over and over and over again until we decide to change. Once you do, your whole life becomes so much easier, and positive energy and opportunity starts to flow in.

4. After a hurricane comes a rainbow

Heaven wants you to know that there is light even in the darkest of places. Nothing is ever permanent. Life is constant and ever changing. Even death is not permanent instead it is a transition that takes us to the paradise where our family awaits us. Know that no matter how challenging a situation might seem now, in the end, it will all make sense to you and is all part of your soul’s evolution. Take a moment to think about the past, and how the challenges of yesterday created a better tomorrow. That is Heavens reasoning, your eyes are being opened to the future so that you can grow, prosper, and be happy.

5. New opportunity awaits you.

There is enough room in the universe for everyone. Stay motivated and keep your eye on the future. Opportunity is all around you, and it is never too late to take control of your life or to pursue new opportunity. Think of each day as a gift that you have been given with new surprises to unlock. Heaven wants to remind you that whatever you put your mind to, you can accomplish. Thoughts are actually waves of energy that can manifest and attract what you are thinking of. That being said; keep your thoughts positive and your intuition set for the future. Let Heaven and the universe direct you to the steps to start your next chapter. It is unwritten and waiting for you!

6. You are growing spiritually

The more you learn, the more you grow. The more time you spend here on earth, the more you learn about yourself. You learn about your strengths that will help you and your weaknesses that you can improve upon for the better. Spirituality is about being the best person that you can be while getting back in touch with your soul. If you are feeling out of control or off balance, dig deep into your spirituality. You can use your faith as a crutch to lean on and spend time reconnecting with nature and the outdoors. Take a moment to open your door and look around. All the things you see the birds, the bees, the trees, the floors were placed here for you to enjoy and take advantage of. Heaven placed these things here to remind you of all the beauty life has to offer.

7. You are discovering a new support system.

As you move through life, you will meet new people who will help you along your life’s journey. Some will walk with you and help you, and others will be pulled to fulfill their own destiny. Keep walking forward and know that Heaven will provide to you the people who will help you. Sometimes people leave our life so that others can come in and lead us the rest of the way. Know in your heart that Heaven will provide you the best path to take. Listen to the advice of others and the guidance that they are giving you. The hardest thing is trying to do everything yourself, know that it’s okay to have a support system and let others in. Sometimes it’s when we let our guard down that everything just seems to get better.

8. You are stronger than you think you are.

If you have made it this far, you can make it the rest of the way! Sometimes life gets tough but its how you pick yourself up and carry on that is the real blessing. You have been given the strength that you need to move forward from any situation. No matter how hard or challenging a situation may seem, take a moment to remind yourself that you are strong. When life gets overwhelming go back to the drawing board and create a life’s plan. Make a promise to yourself that you will put yourself first and do whatever it takes to find happiness. In Heaven’s eyes you are the most important person in this world. When you feel you have come to a crossroad, ask Heaven and your Angels to lead you the rest of the way.

9. You have the power to manifest.

Heaven is listening to your thoughts, needs and desires. They want you to be happy, to achieve greatness, and find peace. The journey to happiness and success begins with a strong mindset and determination. When you make up your mind and put all your intention on something, Heaven and the Universe pays attention and will help you. Heaven will lead you to the steps to take but it’s up to you to go where you are being lead without fear. Each night before you go to bed, tell your Angels and the Universe what you want to achieve, or what you want in life. This is part of the ‘Law of Attraction’ and it will help your soul on the journey of fulfilling your dreams!

10. The future is much brighter than you think.

There is always something good that comes out of each day, even the days you may think are bad. Always choose to look for the silver lining. When you reach the other side, everything you have been through will all be explained, and you will see Heavens divine reason. Their message to you is never give up. Put your hand over your heart and feel your heart beating. The beating you feel is your life’s purpose and Heaven reassuring you that there is a reason you are alive. Live fearlessly through each day, and know that the future is BRIGHT! Forgive often, laugh loud and smile, that is the key to Happiness!
